Reordering What I Believe

A Faithful Look Within

Day 5

“Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.”
Romans 12:2

Many of our deepest struggles are rooted in beliefs we absorbed long before we knew they were shaping us.

Beliefs like:

  • “I’m not enough.”

  • “I’m too broken.”

  • “I can’t change.”

  • “God is disappointed in me.”

  • “I don’t deserve healing.”

  • “Things will always be this way.”

None of these are from God.

Recovery involves replacing false beliefs with truth — truth that restores dignity, hope, clarity, and strength. God’s truth doesn’t shame us; it lifts us. It steadies us. It reorders our thoughts so we can see ourselves as God sees us.

The deepest transformation often begins with a simple prayer: “Lord, help me believe what is true.”

A Prayer for your day

God, reorder my thoughts with Your truth. Break the lies I’ve believed and strengthen me with Your voice. Amen.

Put it in action

Write down one false belief you’ve carried.
Then write one truth God says about you instead.
